Rebellious Writing Blog Tour

I've never done a blog tour of any kind on here before.... this should be interesting.

If you haven't heard of Rebellious Writing yet, then you must be new to this blog! And if so, welcome!
I would explain Rebellious Writing to you, but that's the purpose of this tour, so let's get into it!

We believe
In light
In truth
In goodness
We believe in tomorrow's generation
In creating a better world
Through words
Through books
We believe in fighting for what we believe
We believe in high expectations
That we are capable of anything we set our minds to
We the youth...
Believe in Rebellion
Rebellion for Righteousness
For light
For verity in a world of lies
For beauty in a world of darkness

   *sighs* So beautiful.

I'm also suppose to credit the founder of this... so... hi *waves*. But don't be fooled, I didn't do half of this, I couldn't have done it without the Rebellious Writing  team members!!

GIVE THESE PEEPS A ROUND OF APPLAUSE, Y'ALL! Seriously, none of this could of happened without them!!!! They're more than amazing, I'm pretty sure they're all superheroes or something, because they are LIFESAVERS!

Also, the website might not be open and running yet, but we're still on the internet!

    3. That's so sweet, y'all! I didn't put my name on the team, because I felt it was unneeded since this is on my blog. But thank you both for your kind words! <3

  7. I'd seen bloggers mention an upcoming dedicated #RebelliousWriting blog, but I didn't know what the address would be (probably I could have googled it, though... xD) I look forward to seeing it - I'm sure you've all done amazing work! <3

    1. Thanks! I'll be posting a link to it on the ninth, so even if I hadn't mentioned the address here, you wouldn't have had to google it! You can if you want to though, it's not running yet or finished, but it's out there-still sleeping!

  9. What makes your writing rebellious? Not having any of the things on the memes page in your story? Because my story has an abusive drunk drug dealer guy in it (who ends up going to jail)....would that not fit into the rebellious writing because of some of that content?

    1. No, it would still fit.

Rebellious Writing isn't about taking out harsher and tougher themes such as drugs, drinking, abuse, etc. out of YA, instead it is against glorifying these things. I've read some YA books that say getting high is normal and healthy for teens to do, that is what we're against, not what you say your book has in it.

I've had topics and characters such as yours in my own stories, because I believe we need to address such issues in the world and that words have the power to do so.

I hope that answers some of your questions!

  10. I'm also working on a blog tour - not sure totally when it's coming out yet, but it will be up before the 9th!

I think I am going sneak those headers too, I really like them!
